Thank you!

And then yet another Wavecamp is over, and peace returns in Vågå. Everybody has left the ice, except for the tugs and two K21 that hopefully will be towed home tomorrow.

We want to thank everyone for a great and cold week in the Norwegian mountains, and hope to see you and more of your friends back on the ice in week 11 of 2014.

Drive carefully!

Challenging thermals

Today we had a total of 20 tows, with some rather challenging thermals after lunch. Blue sky, and quite cold.

The annual dinner party progressed in an orderly fashion, with awards for the greatest cumulative elevation gain hrough the week. The winner was Marcus Larsson from Landskrona flying club in Sweden. The winning height was 8400 meters.

After the dinner Jeroen Bakker gave an interesting seminar about "The Human Factor".
